PC Strand

Steel PC Strand
Nominal diameter: 9.5mm, 12.70mm, 15.20mm, 15.70mm, 17.8mm, 18.9mm, 21.6mm
Coil weight: 2.5-3.5 tons
Tensile strength: 1860Mpa
Application: Steel strands are mainly used as reinforcement for prestressed concrete structures, such as long-span railways and bridges, crane beams, rock and soil anchoring projects, multi-floor industrial buildings, etc.
The prestressed concrete strand is formed by twisting multiple high-strength steel wires and eliminating stress (stabilizing treatment) for proper usage of prestressed concrete and similar purpose. It belongs to high-efficiency and high-technology steel products with the advantages of saving steel, high tensile strength, well elongation, low relaxation, small stress loss, and good performance of anti-fatigue. The PC strand is widely used in highways, bridges, pillow rails, large sports venues, high-rise buildings, airports, seaports, docks, nuclear power plants, DAMS, urban overhead roads, light rails, and other infrastructure areas.
