PC Strand
Retard-bonded Steel Strand
Nominal diameter: 9.5mm, 12.70mm, 15.20mm, 15.70mm, 17.8mm, 18.9mm, 21.6mm, 21.8mm
Coil weight: 2.5-3.5 tons
Tensile Strength: 1860Mpa
Application: The retard-bonded prestressed steel strand can be applied to large-span, heavy-load structures, like commercial complexes, stadiums, airport terminals, station buildings, railway bridges, municipal bridges, silos, sewage treatment tanks, hydraulics, port engineering and other structures.
The retard-bonded prestressed steel strand is composed of three parts: 1. Steel strand (bare wire) 2. Retarded adhesive 3. Outsourcing sheath. Retarded adhesive is the core of retard-bonded prestressed steel strand. It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance and high strength after curing. The strength after curing is greater than 50MPa.
Technical characteristics :
- Construction is similar to unbonded prestress. Compared with bonded prestress, it does not require corrugated pipes and grouting, which reduces two complex procedures and reduces the impact of on-site manual operations. The construction quality is easy to get impaired. At present, single-hole anchors are used for retard-bonded prestressed steel strand.
- After the retarding adhesive is cured, it will form an occlusal bond with the surrounding concrete to achieve a bonded effect.
- The retard-bonded pre-stressed steel strand structure has three layers, the steel strand (bare wire), the outer layer is wrapped by a corrosion-resistant retarding adhesive and an outer sheath to form two protective layers, and the durability is stronger than ordinary bonded prestress.
Application field: The retard-bonded prestressed steel strand can be applied to large-span, heavy-load structures, like commercial complexes, stadiums, airport terminals, station buildings, railway bridges, municipal bridges, silos, sewage treatment tanks, hydraulics, port engineering and other structures.
